Goody Two Shoes Considers Other People Groups

Goody Two Shoes Considers Other People Groups

I have been pondering a bit lately about this and that, up and down, in and out, round and about, and mainly about how things have turned out for myself and my family.

The ‘what ifs’ may not count or be worth wasting much energy on, but I can’t help thinking about them anyways.

Here are a few of the ponderings:
Let’s say I hadn't married a Palestinian Christian Arab with Israeli Citizenship.
Let’s say he was from Columbia, or Tasmania, or Liberia, or Tajikistan, or Nepal.
Would justice issues, or injustice issues, have seized me in the same way?
Would the people have caught my attention and how they need to be treated fairly?
Would absolutely everything be as political and intense and all consuming?
Would I fight as hard for my children?
Would I eat less chocolate and sleep better?

Who knows? Who cares?! Does it matter or is it just a waste of energy to think about?

Surely the important part is following the plot-your plot, the plot allotted to you.

Keep focused, keep keen, keep tight, keep on the straight line...Do not waiver, do not faint (lest you wander or fall over).

Hebrews 12:1b- “...Let us lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.”

So my husband is this and that and I find myself living with certain types of people. That is not the issue here. How I react, behave, and participate is the real deal. Loving my enemies as well as my friends...

I had better go read my Goody Two Shoes Keeps Calm and Carries On article.

Fact: Short/dark/hairy could easily have been tall/fair/smooth. It is all the same to God.
